Further to my recent post on the drastic changes to Capital Gains Tax recently proposed by the Chancellor, Alistair Darling, I am pleased to pass on the address of a digital petition being mounted to try and persuade the Government that these changes are unwelcome, unfair, and dis-encourage entrepreneurs investing in the future. Please click on the link and make your way to the petition site now at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/SaveCGTrelief/ and add your own name to the thousands already there. As much as our Government dismisses as irrelevant the views of ordinary people, if enough concerned business people sign this digital petition perhaps, just perhaps, even the blinkered people in Government might notice the strength of feeling that this move has aroused, and that we, the people, have had enough of being dumped upon.
